The mission of the association is to promote a high standard of quality care for renal patients and their families through education and research. Since its formation the association is committed to being a voice for nephrology nurses nationally and actively engaging in strategic developments in the area of renal care. The association promotes the role of the nephrology nurse nationally through continuous professional development and research. It continues to strive to establish collaborations with other associations and organisations having a role in health care delivery nationally and internationally.
